Safety Overview
Telean Rx provides access to online healthcare services through licensed healthcare providers. Your health and safety are central to the care process.
Before treatment is prescribed, the provider reviews the health information available to them and determines whether the requested treatment is appropriate.
Completing an online health assessment does not guarantee that a medication or treatment will be prescribed.
Treatment decisions are based on your individual circumstances, health history, current information, and the clinical judgment of the licensed provider.
Your Healthcare Provider
A licensed healthcare provider reviews the information submitted as part of your consultation and determines whether treatment is appropriate.
Your provider may ask additional questions, request additional information, recommend a different treatment option, or determine that a particular treatment is not appropriate for you.
You should provide complete and accurate information and follow the instructions provided by your healthcare provider.
Provide Complete Health Information
Your healthcare provider relies on the information you provide when evaluating your treatment request.
Tell your provider about your current health conditions, medications, allergies, previous treatments, and other relevant health information requested during your consultation.
If your health information changes after your consultation, provide updated information to your healthcare team when appropriate.
Do not leave out information that may be relevant to your healthcare or treatment.
Medication Safety
If your provider prescribes medication, use the medication only as directed by your healthcare provider and according to the instructions provided with your prescription.
Follow your prescribed instructions
Do not change your prescribed dose, frequency, or method of use unless directed by your healthcare provider.
Review your medication information
Read the information provided with your medication and contact your healthcare provider or pharmacist if you have questions about how your medication should be used.
Report concerns
If you experience an unexpected reaction or have concerns about your medication, contact an appropriate healthcare professional for guidance.
Ongoing Care & Follow-Up
Healthcare does not end when a treatment is prescribed. Follow-up may be an important part of understanding how you are responding to treatment and whether your plan remains appropriate.
Keep your healthcare provider informed about relevant changes in your health, medications, symptoms, or treatment experience.
Your provider may adjust your treatment plan when clinically appropriate based on your health and treatment goals.
Emergency Care
Telean Rx is not a replacement for emergency medical care. If you are experiencing a medical emergency or believe you may be in immediate danger, seek emergency medical attention immediately.
Do not wait for an online consultation, message, or response from Telean Rx when immediate medical attention is needed.
For urgent or emergency symptoms, contact the appropriate emergency medical service or go to the nearest emergency facility.
